What information this website involves, how it is handled, and the limits of what we can promise.

This policy describes how Oceanic Pacific Management, LLC ("OPM", "we") handles information in connection with this website. We aim to collect as little as possible and to be straightforward about the rest.
Information you provide voluntarily
You are not required to provide any personal information in order to read this website. If a contact form or similar feature is active and you choose to use it, we receive what you enter, which may include your name, your email address, the category of your inquiry, and the content of your message.
We use that information to understand and respond to your inquiry. We do not sell or rent it, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your agreement. Please do not send sensitive personal information, account credentials, payment details, or confidential material through a web form.
Technical information processed by hosting infrastructure
This site is served by third-party hosting infrastructure. As with essentially all websites, the provider's systems may automatically process technical information as part of delivering pages and protecting the service. That can include your IP address, the pages requested, timestamps, the referring page, and general information about your browser, device, and operating system.
We would rather state this plainly than claim that no data is collected. This processing is performed by the hosting provider as part of normal operation, is generally used for delivery, security, and diagnostics, and is subject to that provider's own practices. It is not used by us to build a profile of you.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
This site is built to function without setting cookies for tracking purposes. If that changes, this section will be updated before the change takes effect, and any consent mechanism required in your jurisdiction will be provided.
We may in future use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful, and we may in future display advertising. Neither is in place at present. If either is introduced, we will describe here what it involves, what information the provider receives, and what choices you have. We will not introduce tracking that we would be uncomfortable explaining.

Where this site links to an external website, that site is operated independently and has its own policies and practices. We are not responsible for how another operator handles your information, and we encourage you to read the policies of any site you visit.
How long information is kept
Correspondence you send us is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was sent for, together with any period required to meet a legal or record-keeping obligation, after which it is deleted or archived. Technical logs generated by hosting infrastructure are retained according to the provider's standard retention arrangements, which are typically short.
Security and its limits
We take reasonable steps to protect information in our care, including limiting what we collect in the first place, which is the most effective protection available. We cannot promise absolute security. No website, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure, and any claim otherwise should be treated with suspicion. Information sent over the internet is sent at your own risk.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so it can be removed.
